After a slow morning at Mema's Castle, we decided to walk down to one of the lakes on the property Sunday afternoon. The walk was enjoyed by all. Although I wish I had packed my Moby Wrap as Isaac wanted to be carried most of the time. (Note to self: Definitely pack it for our annual family beach trip later this summer.)
We had hoped to see some wildlife, but all the geese and ducks decided to play elsewhere. Meems and Mema did see two turtles, which decided they were making too much noise so the turtles quickly shot into the lake before the kids and I could make it up to see them.
