This past weekend began our journey into "un-baby-proofing" our home. (Yes, we grant permission to read between the lines of that previous statement.)
For the last six months or so, we haven't been as anal about our outlet covers. We've turned the cabinet door lock upside down so the kids have free access to our kitchen trash. We've pretty much left our stair gates wide open. But we haven't uninstalled our MAJOR baby-proofing efforts...until Friday.
Said hearth protector is now sitting in our driveway, waiting for deconstruction...
