Usually on Mondays we have our little friend over, but yesterday she spiked a fever, so she is spending the day at home with her daddy. We hope she feels better soon!
In light of it just being "us", today became a PJ day, something we haven't done in a long while. We cuddled in bed, watching several PBS shows while I periodically sipped on coffee. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of whole wheat waffles. The kids played nicely in the living room while I started on Meems' birthday present. We ate lunch together, listening to some of Mommy's favorite music, while chatting. And afterwards, when I offered to dress the kids, I got "Can we just stay in our pajamas a bit longer, Mommy? Please?"
I sure have missed our PJ Days.
