Today was our first experience dropping one child off at MMO while I took the other child to the pediatrician's for a suspected ear infection (which ended up being a double, by the way).
Honestly, I don't know who this morning was tougher on:
- The child who willingly went to MMO but looked so solemn when the realization hit that he/she was going solo,
- The child who cried because he/she couldn't go to school but had to visit the pediatrician, or
- The mama.
I'm starting to realize as the kiddos get older, those "firsts" sure don't get easier!
