Let The Celebrations Begin!

We have been crazy busy this week! Between celebrating Isaac and Kathryn's first birthday and preparing Jonathan for his new job in Columbia, we are running around all over the place. (The kids' schedule has been all over the place this week. Hopefully they will slip back into it next week.)

Yesterday evening, we celebrated the Big One with our good friends, the Sewells. (Jonathan and Dan grew up together in PBG, Florida.) We always enjoy getting together with them and need to do so more often. The kids partied hard, not getting home until after 10 pm. (Typically bedtime is between 7-7:30. !!!!) Fortunately they received the last feeding before we left Dan and Keli's and were in their pjs for the car ride home. We just slipped them out of their carseats, straight into their cribs. It was delightful!

Today, we hit Costco and had lunch with some of Jonathan's former co-workers downtown. We had a great time seeing everyone! Even though they were tired from being out late the previous evening, both kids did extremely well and were quite the little charmers. We will miss our friends over at TSFG, but will definitely keep in touch!

Tomorrow afternoon Jonathan and Pop are headed to Columbia to move the big items into Jonathan's place down there. I "plan" on preparing for our family birthday celebration scheduled for Sunday late afternoon. Sunday it's off to church in the morning, hopefully catch a nice nap in the afternoon and celebrate with Pop and Meems that evening.

Monday morning, bright and early, Jonathan will head down to Columbia and the kids and I will return to our "usual" schedule. Next Friday, Isaac and Kathryn have their one year well visit with the pediatrician so I hope to post my Year One retrospective after that appointment.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
