First Bloodshed

YIKES! Yeah, you read that right. We had our first incident which led to bloodshed yesterday. Fortunately this first did not require any stitches!


Isaac was practicing his squats on one of our dining room chairs and caught his chin on the way down. As a result, his bottom lip met his top teeth and two little bite marks appeared on his lower lip. Poor fella, he let out a frustrated cry, but allowed Mommy and Boo-Boo Bunny to soothe him pretty quickly. (He enjoyed licking Boo-Boo Bunny!) His lip is a bit swollen today. However his most recent incident has not dampened his appetite!


We are still dealing with lingering colds around here. Kathryn has a nice raspy voice, a little cough and a drippy nose. (No fever since Tuesday though!!) Isaac has had a fever since Friday with no other symptoms. Mommy hopes we are able to kick these colds to the curb this week and life returns to some form of normal.
