uber brief update...
Yesterday, early afternoon, was my paternal grandfather's memorial service in North Carolina. He passed away before Christmas, but his ashes were not interned until yesterday. It was a beautiful day to remember him and nice for Kathryn and Isaac to meet some distant family members for the first time.
Yesterday, late afternoon, Jonathan was offered and accepted a position with a company located in Greenville. Starting in May, he will be with us again during the week! No more living apart Mon-Thurs!!! God is SO good!!
Yesterday, early evening, Isaac experienced his first ER visit. He and Kathryn were playing with a beach ball in the great room near the TV. Kathryn jerked the ball from Isaac, he lost his balance, and took a tumble into the TV stand creating a nice gash in his right eyebrow. Long story short, he is now plus two in the stitch count, but handled the whole experience like a champ!
Hopefully both kids will take super long naps today so mommy can get some much needed rest herself.

I think Issac was so excited that his daddy is going to be home all the time that he lost his balance, lol.
Congrats to the both of you for living apart, but working together to raise two adorable children.
